Meet Dr. Kemp
Dr. Phillip Kemp has been practicing family and cosmetic dentistry in the Nashville area for more than 20 years. He is a national and international speaker in cosmetic dentistry. His passion for dentistry flows from a heart that loves to help others look and feel their best, so they can go and impact the world.
Dr. Kemp is a faculty member at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, where he teaches restorative dentistry. He has served on the Board of Trustees for the Nashville Dental Society and has been very active in the Tennessee Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He is also considered to be an expert on the subject of digital photography for dentists, so don’t be surprised if you see a camera coming towards you!
Dr. Kemp is the founder of Hope Smiles, formerly known as Project Smiles, a non-profit, Christian organization that helps individuals receive restorative and cosmetic dental work at little or no cost, made possible by community and private financial support, donated materials and volunteer dental professionals.
A native Tennessean, Dr. Kemp lives in Brentwood with his wife of 23years, Rhonda, and their four children – Tyler, Nolan, Peyton and Macy Li. He can often be found on the sidelines of a sports field coaching or taking pictures of his sons, or having a tea party with his daughter, who he and Rhonda adopted from China.
